SA Election Delayed as Three Candidates Flown to Greek Island so Daughter Can Identify Which Is Real President

KALOKAIRI, Greece - Students at the George Washington University have been frightened and confused as of late as to the sudden delay of the elections for their beloved Student’s Association. However, the university has announced its backup plan consists of a frankly ridiculous scheme to fly the trio of candidates to a far-off island where they will each meet with someone who may be their daughter, who will then determine which one is the real president.

“This plot seems absolutely ridiculous,” explained one student upon being informed of this plan. “Why wouldn’t she just, like, ask her Mom? Surely there’s a more easy answer than playing with these people’s lives?”

The candidates are also expected to display an expert proficiency at performing song and dance routines of hit 1970s Europop, complete with mangled sense of the English language.

“You know, after a rough election season, I just want to have some good old-fashion popcorn entertainment,” explained a source close to the University. “Just a quiet night with some great music and lots of fun - what more can we ask for?”

Things have begun to escalate as two separate candidates have each deduced they must be the President, and have told the daughter, Sam, they’ll be present at the swearing-in, at practically the same time, making her almost yearn back to the day before they came.

Until this wacky set of circumstances gets resolved, all we can say for sure is the winner will take it all.
