Student Disappointed She Never Got to Party With Obama Girls

WASHINGTON--Senior Rachel Cheever has expressed serious disappointment in her realization that in her four years at GW, she never got the chance to party with the Obama girls.

“I always heard the stories of Malia going to South, and that was a major reason why I decided to spend $2,300 a month for the privilege of living here,” said Cheever. “I always hoped that one day Malia would walk into the lobby and I would be, like, ‘Hey Malia do you want to go to Capitale with me?’ and she would be, like, ‘yeah’ and we would have a great time.”

Cheever had, mostly irrationally, that she would have at least one chance to attend a club or frat formal or at least an apartment party with the daughters of the President. “It didn’t even have to be Malia. I’m sure Sasha is also pretty cool, and even though she’s kinda young I’m sure she could handle some Lime-a-ritas and get a little turnt.”

Now that the Obamas will be moving away from the GW area, Cheever has realized that she may not have the opportunity to pursue what for her was the ultimate “Only At GW” moment. “There were a few times where I ran into people I am no longer friends with, and may have told them that I didn’t need them since I had Malia. That wasn’t true but I tried to compensate by saying that I would have a hella lit time with her eventually. But now that’s gone.”

When informed that the Obama family would be moving to Kalorama, a roughly 13 minute drive from campus, she responded that her parents cut off her Uber funds for the rest of the year, “so the opportunity for getting ‘presidentially turnt’ are limited.”
