WASHINGTON - An astonished audience of onlookers gasped in shock as Frank Sesno, Director of George Washington University’s distinguished School of Media & Public Affairs, revealed himself to be Oscar-nominated filmmaker and actor Jeff Goldblum.
“Yes, it is I, the star of Hideaway,” he said, between frequent umming and erring.
“I know this is giving you all a Big Chill,” he continued, for some reason invoking the name of his film where a group of friends refuse to just pay attention to their food preparation and must instead incorporate a, frankly, embarrassing dance number. “But I like to imagine you always knew I had The Right Stuff. Just name me Man of the Year now!”
“We really should have guessed this long ago,” explained Professor Leneas of the University’s Department of Disguises. “He wasn't wearing a wig or anything, nor did he mask his speech. In fact, he's just openly been Jeff Goldblum this entire time, and no one's noticed.”
The School of Media & Public Affairs has temporarily suspended operations to deal with this stunning revelation, the administration not entrusting it to be run by anyone who was once Geena Davis’s beau.
Upon being found out, the Cats & Dogs star quickly made for the exits, reportedly murmuring, “must go faster.”
